Pandora Microbot provides reliable protection against vehicle theft
Unlike conventional immobilisers, it does not rely on mechanical relays or physical wire cutting. Instead, it communicates directly with the vehicle’s electronic systems and digitally controls engine start authorisation via the CAN data bus. The vehicle can only be operated after successful authorisation.
Pandora Microbot CAN provides reliable protection against vehicle theft as well as unauthorised vehicle takeover while driving (Anti-HiJack). Featuring 2× CAN FD support, Bluetooth 5.4, and a USB-C interface, it delivers a modern security solution for the latest generation of vehicles.
Four Levels of Digital Immobilisation
- Engine Block
Digitally prevents the engine from operating through direct communication with the vehicle’s electronic systems. Without successful authorisation, the vehicle cannot be used. - Engine Start Block
Prevents the engine from starting unless the system detects an authorised Bluetooth tag or another configured authentication method. - Automatic Transmission Block (AT Block)
Prevents the automatic transmission from being shifted into gear, making it impossible to drive the vehicle even if the engine is running. - Keyless Block
Protects the vehicle against theft attempts targeting keyless entry systems. The system requires additional driver authentication and prevents misuse of relayed or cloned key signals.
The vehicle can only be operated after successful authorisation. If the system does not detect an authorised user, it digitally blocks the engine start. Its concealed design and compact dimensions of just 77 × 12 × 5 mm allow for discreet installation, making the device extremely difficult to detect.
Pandora Microbot LIN also features Anti-HiJack protection, preventing unauthorised vehicle takeover while driving. Combined with Bluetooth 5.4 technology and configuration via USB-Cor the mobile application, it provides a modern and reliable vehicle security solution. Equipped with 1× LIN BUS and 1× CAN BUS. By supporting both communication buses, it provides intelligent digital vehicle immobilisation and a high level of theft protection without the need for mechanical relays or physical wire cutting.
